Medical Assistant - Certified
Job Description:
Collaborates with the nurse or physician to determine nursing needs of the patientsPrepares patients for examination and treatmentProvides for patient comfort.
Monitors physiological statusPrepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
Performs initial screening of patients.
Assists with medical treatment of patients.
Provides emergency first aid measures.
Performs Basic Life Support (CPR).
CPR certification required.
Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.
Screens telephone calls for referral to nurse or physicianMaintains patient files, records, and other information.
May call in patient's prescriptions as directed by physician.

Years of Experience - RequiredNational Certification - RequiredEPIC experience - preferredBLSAbout the Company:
