Summary:
The Director, Employee Success is responsible for the performance of the human resources department and functions of the organization.
They will participate in, planning, developing, recommending, and implementing human resources activities, policies, procedures, and programs for The McGregor Company.
This position also participates in and manages activities relating to staffing, employee education and training, management development, performance management, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and salary administration.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Proactively partner with the GM Team to develop people strategies and best practices to support company's long term strategic growth.
Conduct annual salary surveys, when necessary.
Create and revise company job descriptions for compliance with all legal requirements and consistency within company.
Develop, interpret, and guide managers on application of company policies, procedures, and employee handbook provisions.
Communicate changes in policies and procedures and ensure proper compliance.
Develop, analyze, and update performance management program.
Train and assist managers on use of program and manage process for compliance with Company policies.
Facilitate, coordinate, and manage supervisor training, management coaching and leadership development.
Develop, analyze, and recommend personnel policies and procedures.
Understand benefits administration, with the ability to perform this function.
Oversee recruitment efforts, retention, onboarding and turnover.
Develop, review, revise, participate in, and oversee new employee orientations.
Manage employee relations.
Work closely with supervisors to advise, counsel, provide coaching, career development, disciplinary action, and support.
Work with management and employees to provide consultation and guidance to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
Oversee/Conduct exit interviews.
Maintain department records and reports according to the law and records retention schedule.
Maintain and revise company handbook.
Maintain company directory and other organizational charts.
Administer company and legally required leave programs, as necessary.
File applicable legally required documents as necessary.
Understand, with the ability to conduct, the administration and monitoring of FMLA and other state leave programs.
Understand and be available to support the coordination of workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring/implementing applicable Federal and State requirements.
Conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings, if necessary.
Any other duties, responsibilities, or tasks as requested by Director, Accounting & Finance or the GM Team.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
The Director, Employee Success will eventually supervise one FTE.
These supervisory responsibilities will not occur until after an undetermined period of time.
Preferred Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or an equivalent major) from a four-year college or university preferred.

years of human resources or comparable experience, including at least three years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Candidates must be legally employable by a U.
S.
business.
SHRM-CR or SHRM-SCP or HRMC preferred.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$80,000.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
